Electrical Specialists Corporation (“ESC”), founded by Tom Herbert in March of 2008, is based in Gaithersburg, Maryland and serves the Washington DC metro area.

Tom Herbert served for 10 years in the Gaithersburg Washington Grove Volunteer Fire Department and finished as a Master Firefighter/Paramedic. Tom began in the electrical trade in 1985 and has experience in the residential, commercial, medical, and research facility electrical systems.

Though it is possible to find basic electricians and contractors, it is challenging to find electricians that have in-depth knowledge on specific disciplines within the electrical industry. Seeing a need for an electrical company that provides a real service to the community at an expert level he founded Electrical Specialists Corporation giving it a name that reflects his vision and experience.

The mere existence of this company is both proof and example of the Living Savior and His immeasurable love for sinners like the president of ESC.

Tom and his family attend Covenant Life Church (the greatest place on earth next to his own home!) and have a dramatic testimony of how God rescued him and his wife, essentially his family, from utter destruction and has been restoring “the years the locust have eaten” [ Joel 2:25 (New International Version)] ever since.
